Sustainable Fashion Week Clothing Swap
Our coalition partnered with NY Sustainable Fashion Week for Philly’s first Sustainable Fashion Week. On the 2nd day of the 4 day event, we co-hosted a clothing swap at The Discovery Center . During the swap, participants had the opportunity to work with menders, seamstresses and a natural dyer to learn hand sewing and dying techniques so they could reinvent their old and/or newly acquired clothing.
