Blue Jeans Implosion

In November 2023, PA Fibershed joined a diverse group of experts and community members to investigate the fast fashion system by deconstructing a pair of Old Navy jeans. This process, known as an implosion, was led by Circular Philadelphia and Trash Academy . Together, we explored the local and global impacts of fast fashion. The graphic you see here is the result of that collaborative research and design effort.
