University Ambassador Program Information Session

Curious about sustainability, textiles, or community leadership? Want to get more involved on campus? Looking to grow your professional network and connect with peers who share similar interests?

If you answered yes, we invite you to join us for an information session to learn more about the PA Fibershed University Ambassador Program on Friday, March 27 at 3:30 PM, ahead of the 2026–2027 application cycle.

This info session is open to students attending any university in Pennsylvania who are interested in becoming ambassadors, as well as university faculty members interested in serving as faculty cohort advisors.

During the virtual webinar, you’ll get an in-depth overview of the University Ambassador Program, including:

  • What the University Ambassador Program is and what ambassadors do

  • What to expect from the program, including time commitment and responsibilities

  • The role of faculty advisors and how they support student ambassadors

  • The benefits of participating for students and faculty

  • How the program supports a more sustainable, circular, and ethical textile economy in Pennsylvania

  • How ambassadors spark conversations on campus, host events, and build awareness around local fiber systems

  • Insights from current ambassadors, plus time for questions and discussion

Whether you’re interested in deeper student engagement, meaningful connections, professional growth, or hands-on experience in local fiber advocacy, this session is a great place to begin.
